Past Treks
A Look Back at the Treks, Clinics, and Causes That Built This Mission
Rexburg, Idaho, USA
Remote Area Medical
In his final year at BYU–Idaho, Hunter helped organize a free medical, dental, and vision clinic that served 100 rural patients who had no other options. From recruiting volunteers to coordinating logistics from scratch, it was the project that showed him what he was capable of — and what was possible when a community decides to show up.
Mt. Rainier, Washington, USA
Climb for Casen
Before medical school, before the Air Force, there was a teenager with a dream to climb Mt. Rainier and a community with a boy named Casen who needed help. Hunter combined the two — turning his first major summit into a fundraiser that raised over $12,000 for a local child's medical treatment. It was the climb that proved a mountain could mean more than a personal goal."
Mt. Everest, Nepal
Climb for Casen
In 2026, Hunter heads to Nepal for a wilderness medicine elective and trek to Everest Base Camp—his most ambitious expedition yet. Alongside the medical training, he'll be carrying Charlie's Dinosaur through the Himalayas to raise awareness and funds for children entering emergency foster care through the Susan Cox Powell Foundation's Charlie's Dinosaur program.
